We buy lava rock by the pallet. Light and easy to handle. But it is not a cure all. Soil types and conditions are a huge deal when it comes to pivots. Most of our pivots work well. But a couple of them go through low areas. And that can be a problem.
If there is a swing arm involved we make sure the swing arm wheel tracks are away from the 7th tower wheel tracks. If they cross it can be a big problem.
