Urbandale Ia, (but originally from SE IA) | Here in SE Ia, we were hit pretty hard with SDS, worse than I've ever seen before. I haven't cut any beans yet, & ours were pretty much unaffected.
When I was dumping corn at the elevator a few days ago, the guy running the pit asked about my yields & said a lot of guys dumping beans were complaining about really poor yields in the 30's and one guy even mentioned a field that only made 10 bpa.
Don't know if this is confirmed, or somebody was just yanking his chain. I don't hang out at the coffee shop, so haven't heard any other yield reports. |
