Subject: RE: SDS disaster stories???

WC ILL or on a HD on a road to 'somewhere'...

Lots of 40bu beans 'here', but I'd have to say SDS is a minimal issue to it. Most is just plain weather related = too hot/too dry in Aug.

Surprisingly, most seem to be thinking returning to a 50/50 rotation for next year, citing increasing production costs associated w/ corn. More wheat going in, too.

I personally know of no local fert dealer that has even put a price out yet for fall NH3. Rumors of $600+ abound & no dealer is going to be caught w/ invoices for anything less than that, should rumors become fact. Some think we'll actually be applying the N w/out knowing what it's costing us. Makes a good case for going back to beans...
