Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | You mentioned the feed value of the panicum is better than the stalks. What is it that you are referring to? Probably a dumb question but we are a long ways from a corn field here!
I would love to have some corn stalks to feed cattle, from the numbers I have seen it looks like it wouldn't be bad feed at all, supplemented with alfalfa. Better than the rice straw we feed that has to catch a 250 mile ride on a truck first, so not only is it not much for feed but you have to pay frieght as well. | |
