Well, if you are hot footing it after dark, those marker lights means you can keep your foot in it because that is a truck and not a potential cop car to thin out your wallet. :-)
I know what you are saying, because I don't think anyone adjusts there driving just because they see those lights. It might make a difference on some of these older narrow 2 lane roads.
