Southeast South Dakota | For devices that would need a lot of data thru a hotspot for some reason
I hook the phone upto a PC with PDAnet - then uses the wifi receiver in the PC to make a hotspot (called wifi share in the pdanet prgram) then use the data from that hotspot - again - it would never show up as data -
The only downfall to this is the wifi chip in my PC is not very powerful - limited range.
But if I need to update a few phones over wifi - that is what I do. - Again here there is no data being counted against my 15 Gig limit - because the data is going over the air originating from the wifi chip in the PC - not the wifi chip in the phone.
Again - have had very good luck
