Cedar Rapids, Iowa		Pick up a 3 year old HP business class desktop like this for $200 - $300 on ebay.

A lot of businesses lease these and turn them in after 3 years. They're darn good hardware and a brand new $1000+ desktop won't be all that much faster. Just be sure to get one with a SSD or NVME drive (much faster than conventional hard drives).
