They all work if setup correctly.  Personally, I'd do a buried fiber optic line between the house and shop and if that isn't an option then a point to point wireless link if you have good line of sight between the two.  There are plenty of threads on here already about them.  Buried ethernet cable is the last thing I'd do.  I've had a wireless point to point link for the past 8 years and hope to upgrade to buried fiber this fall.
