You need to buy a web camera with a built-in microphone that plugs into a USB port or your computer. Amazon and Best Buy have all kinds of them from cheap to expensive. If you download Zoom you can test the camera and mic in settings before you Zoom meeting. Mount the camera about eye height.
During the first part of covid we needed to do this for routine Dr apt. It worked fine, and I am sure due to demand there are a TON of these on amazon and ebay. They arent very expensive.
Mine has a USB + a Microphone jack to plug in. It worked very well for wife. There are test you can do after installation to make sure its working.
Oh, the camera has a clip to hook on the top of your monitor, but it can be set and ;pointed from elsewhere.
We do not leave ours plugged in, nor do we use it more than once in a very great while. |
