Western-Central Lower Michigan | Lesson, dont have an email from your internet company. Get one of those accounts like google or yahoo.. There are a lot of others. Google for a list. The advantage is WHEN you change internet providers, your email works flawlessly.
You do not need to access "google or yahoo" by the direct web method, you can use a application like Thunderbird, which can handle more than one email account. I use Thunderbird with 2 gmail accounts an one ZOHO account.
