Warm Springs, GA | Dpilot - you are dead on target - what I have will not work with a smart phone, when I built this years ago, smart phone integration was not a thing. What I built, the operator has to fill out a piece of paper when they get to the field.
That is dumb in this day in age so thanks for the prompting.
In regards to your spreadsheets - if you still have a bunch of them - look up Power Query - it is part of Excel now and it is a way to bring all of your spreadsheets together like a database. It is the greatest thing since tracks on a combine.
Youtube is torn up with videos on it - Look up - Power Query will change your World by Leila Gharani - she is really good about getting down to the meat and potatoes of what we are trying to do.
If you are already using Power Query - no disrespect - I am finding people do not know it is a thing in Excel. I teach at the local tech college and I am amazed that people in very high end industry do not know about Power Query. | |
