A lot of fiberglass-plastic tanks crack because of the pressure a bunch of thirsty cows put on the side walls. I've started putting them inside old galvanized tanks if possible. It is also amazing how much warmer double walls keep water in the winter time. It also keeps them from taking off in high winds if they are empty.
