Effingham County | Interesting to read your account. Here in our small area the price of fixing a flat tire has doubled since covid. High wages can not get help and all so most of our shops raise their price to $35 to fix a flat if you bring it in unmounted. But we have a little shop run by a gentleman that does it for $20.00 per tire. His shop is very busy while the big shops are not as busy. So in a way maybe some folks are figuring out a way to get around inflation. To regain their business the big shops will have to lower prices to compete. | |
