Northwest Iowa
I've been out looking at replant corn and beans for MP and a little hail. Corn pretty good unless the guy got one of those 3.5" downpours that came in 20 minutes. Some uneven beans and some coming up, yet. Beans are a little ragged but not as universally uneven as last year. Now oats------- that is another story! Looked at a field today. Even and well-spaced with a drill. Seeded in April. The guy does a bang up job. They were 8-12" tall and HEADING OUT! Bottom leaves are turning yellow. I don't think any rain will save them anymore. Not sure how you harvest them anyway with as short as they are.
