South Central MN | A couple small hay fields got cut here the past few days, I plan to cut some odds and ends around my place tomorrow so most likely it will rain instead.
I feel for the not wanting a flood part, had some in 2016 that was cut, and what remained of some of the windrows was still in the field the next cutting. Had several inches fall on hay that was almost ready to bale, and kept getting rains after that, the stuff rotted to the point it wasn't worth trying to pick it up a couple weeks later. That was a wet fall that year.
