The Mini is really challenged with much of a wind. I don’t think you’d be happy with one for that purpose. I still have a Phantom, so I don’t have a recommendation on a new one. I did buy an original Mini, but sold it to my brother in AZ where it’s less windy as a rule. It’s a handy little thing, but the Mavics are almost as small when folded up, and are heavier so they will do better in a little breeze.
