Human beings assembled the Bible. Human beings decided which books to include and leave out of it.
Google the Book of Enoch and read it. This book was deliberately left out of the Bible because it was deemed too "controversial". If one reads this book, all of the current events are not so sensational.
Human beings make mistakes and will fall prey to pressure from others. If anyone thinks that the Council of Nicea wasn't a bunch of old cronies fighting over what to include or not is fooling themselves. Yes, we are all probably taught that God inspired those in attendance, but the question I then ask is, when did God's inspiration over the Christian Church end? After all, Protestants think this way? | |
