West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's) | I agree that not all do. The one they specifically wanted us to plant was definitely costing us 2-5+ bu/ac the last couple years we planted it. ( the E3 bean we’ve done the past couple years is a really good bean, and gave us our first ever 70+ field average)
Its predecessor was an excellent bean for us.
These are LSFG that evidently have specific taste characteristics. When we first got out 3 years ago the premium had dropped way down also. Sounds like many others are seeing the same yield disappointment so now they are starting to push premium to try to get acres back.
We have 4 different crops and soys have the lowest acreage this year of them so the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze for us to go back.
