Nw Iowa | I think the information and technology some of these outfits have or have access to would blow some away. We all tend to get backyard itis, me included. That doesn’t always make them right but they are looking at a much bigger picture. I also think we as farmers kind of have a built in defense system, and that is he keep our expectations pretty low and “ better than expected” is the result regardless of what end result is. Meaning if you grow 200 bu corn, things are so dry you expect 100 bu corn and end up with 140 bu corn, “better than expected “. At least that is how I deal with farming for last almost 50 years. | |
