Narrow tracks + high rear weight = lots of track wear.
Our wide track machine has less wear on 3000 hr tracks vs the narrow tracks that have 1500 hours on them and have NEVER seen more than 15mph travel speed, just a heavy planter tongue and a heavy side dress bar.
