Milford, IL | Glad you posted this message, I have a few Linux questions if you're inclined to answer.
I have an aging PC at home that will need replaced someday. Not the end of the world but I am really fond of Win7 vs Win10/11 for the reasons you mentioned, specifially forced updates. Already use LibreOffice and what you posted above all sounds workable.
Do you build a new HD w/ Linux OS on an existing PC then install the HD in the new PC or does Lenovo sell a prebuilt PC with Linux installed? I would prefer a small SSD for main hard drive and a large SATA for storage unless this strategy doesn't work with Linux. Is physical media (CDR or DVDR or USB) a good option to install a bootable Linux ISO onto a new hard drive? | |
