Taking clothes off the line while laundry basket was on the ground? My grandmother had a habit of letting her basket outside at the clothes line on the days she did wash. Sometimes partially full of dried folded clothes waiting for the rest to dry, before carrying them into the house. That is how a small snake got in my Grandmother's house.
