I quit working on computers & networks for other people except for elderly or friends and then I just give them my time. Currently I have a Lenovo Ideacentre computer that's slow as molasses in January. I've turned off everything that was slowing it and removed a number of programs that somebody put on to "protect" them and who knows what else. It's still horribly slow. Finally I looked at the amount of memory and see 4 GB. Crucial says it doesn't have memory for this computer. These people are in their 90's and don't want to spend their time waiting for a program to open. The Lenovo Ideacentre is "Desktop FUG9CT1" I don't know if they will want to put in more memory but I'd like to offer it as an option when I give it back to them. I have been unsuccessful in locating memory that I positive will work. Anybody know where I might find some and how this all in one comes apart? |
