| I use to have trouble with my glasses being smudged after cleaning. I started cleaning my glasses with rubbing alcohol & a very soft cloth made for cleaning glasses. Tried a lot of cleaners over the years, the worst were those individual prepackaged wipes, they scratch the glasses. Rubbing alcohol works even better than the little bottles of glass cleaner you get from the eye Dr. DIL, was complaining about being able to get her glasses clean. I told her to try rubbing alcohol, she was amazed how well it cleaned.
Second best cleaner I have found is Pledge furniture polish. Used it for 25+ years before switching to rubbing alcohol. If your glasses got dusty most times you could blow the dust off.. Had an aunt that cleaned her glasses by spittjng on them then rubbing then clean with her thumb & finger. Don't know how she did it but they were clean. I tried it once & my glasses were so smudged I couldn't see out of them, | |
