I have been having a problem understanding folks on my refurbished iPhone 8 with the noise of the combine. I believe it is a combination of the ambient noise and my old age.

Yesterday I dug out the Blue Parrott headset I purchased some years ago and got it paired with the iPhone 8. This was quite an improvement so maybe the phone speaker needs a good cleaning but my hearing could still be part of the issue.

Only problem with the headset is that it is uncomfortable. I could tolerate it but since I only have a few calls per day it is hardly worth it. If I was talking constantly like some seem to think they need to do, I could tolerate it. I have compromised by having the headset handy and switching to it as needed.
