Communication error 8-
Your car's software didn't pass Android Auto security checks
Make sure the car's date and time are set correctly, and that Google Play services has been updated.
This is in a 2018 Chevy Silverado.
I have no idea what it's talking about.....there is a clock on the radio (and it's correct)....but I have no idea about any date-setting anywhere.
An Ideas what I need to change/do? My wife and I always plug our phones into the usb ports in the passenger compartment, they aren't linked to the vehicle. If there is a need for more people /phones we use chargers in the power port, Lots less problems! |
