Central Alberta | I would love to have a computer that always worked the same way perfectly for many years. But I've never found one.
So I decided to invest myself in the Google Ecosystem; I can open a Chrome browser on any computer, and have it sync with all my preferences.
I use Google Drive for all my important documents, and I pay a few dollars per month for 100 GB of cloud storage. Not a bad deal.
I prefer Google because they've never been hacked to my knowledge. I know they use my data, but who doesn't?
I use a large external drive for all my data backups, and I have several backup copies.
Never been hacked, never lost data, never been scammed - all it takes is common sense. | |
