NEIA | Like down below we had one in the freezer(son gave it to us) that I got out a couple days ago. Followed the advice down below. Wow. You could cut it with a fork. Put it in the crock pot about 8:30 this morning on low. Wife put onion, celery and some carrot in with it. Salt, pepper and maybe 2 cups of water. 2:30 it was done. Peeled the skin off then. Put it back in on keep warm setting. When supper time rolled around she made gravy out of the juice. I've only had tongue one other time along time ago. First time for my wife. It turned out excellent. | |
