Is your dealer suggesting you get speed from the TM200 module or is it off of a connection plug on an attached NAV 2 or 3? I believe the 12 pin port A and the exp 100 expander are the same pinout (as was case with FMX port) see diagram below. If port A is open or cabling such as a 75741, 75407 or 75834 has a 12 pin expansion plug then it should follow the diagram as well.

If you need NMEA positioning, then searching the web using “NMEA Trimble TMX” yielded quite a few AgTalk threads on the subject. Some suggest difference between setups with NAV and EZPilot while others mention FMX+ vs PIQ. Issues like they discuss may have been addressed with firmware upgrades.
