| I am a beginner so I apologize if this is a dumb question..
But I’ve got a small feedlot with calves on feed. They are rubbing on everything. It’s all continuous fence panels, with a few tube gates for access. I am worried if I don’t stop them from rubbing on everything my brand new fence and gates are going to be ruined before long.
So looking for advice & input on how others have their feedlots set up and deal with similar issues..
Should I put up an electric wire around the whole interior of the pen? Which is a huge pain especially when having to open and use gates. Or should I focus more on why they are rubbing and continue to treat and hope that the rubbing stops/slows eventually?
I have poured with clean up II as well as dewormed recently.
