I may have to get a cast iron pan at some point. Currently, they are banned in my house. The wife grew up a big city girl, who was never even exposed to cast iron, and she just cannot get her head around not using soap to clean something that prepares food. She's ok with the grill outside, but I'm still working on getting her comfortable with a pan.
Just get an enameled coated cast iron pan. All the benefits of cast iron and can clean with soap like a regular pan. |
