Subject: RE: Pots and pans

north central Iowa, Hampton
I use All Clad Stainless fry pans. I figured they're supposed to last forever, so I picked up used ones on e bay 6-7 years ago. No regrets. I do have some old Wagner cast in the camper where I'm cooking on gas or a fire and I like those a lot too. If you've never cooked on cast or stainless, it's different. Watch some You Tube videos ask someone who's used them before. I always preheat them, always use butter, lard or olive oil, never use soap and try to get water in the pan when it's still quite warm to loosen anything so it comes off easy.

Still using some good non-stick stock pots / pots. Not married to them and will probably continue to use them till the non-stick coating starts to flake, which it always does.
