Yup, and it seems young guys don't figure it in the equation. Until you pay a bunch if it and realize, wow I could have maybe done things differently. I challenge every young person to figure cost of money before signing that note.
Three things I figure aren't taught in school anymore.
1. How to balance a checkbook.
2. How to fill out a 1040EZ tax form.( yes I know that form is
obsolete).
3. The rule of 72.
Just think how people's lives might be enhanced if they learned just these facts.

These rates really take the fun out of buying things. I can’t help but figure interest on everything down to a coffee at the gas station. |
