West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's) | showing green and blue for us. Tiles and lift pumps have been running in the wetter areas
some fields have seen 9"+ since Sept 15ish.
Some of the drier fields I have a hard time believing are completely saturated down 40" (100 cm) That said if 90 days from fog is going to be rain, the late April and early may planting window on already pretty moist ground could be less than ideal.
Time will tell, after last year's drought I'm thankful for the moisture we've been able to get into the ground. We don't normally get 3" of rain on Christmas Day that can actually soak in but we did this year. |
