I’m told they can’t digest it but in every case where I’ve had a calf or calves I’m trying to get started on feed that’s without fail the first thing they show interest in trying to eat. I’ve got a set of twins that are just a week old and when I put out some alfalfa for momma they’re already sniffing and nibbling at it.
