EC SoDak | From what I remember there was a bit of worry up north about delayed planting due to deep snow, I’m sure some of the low laying ground was worried with PP. I believe the line was roughly Hwy 212 and north. What helped them was they didn’t have frost in the ground, so it soaked in. But what doesn’t get mentioned was there were temps in the 60s and 70s earlyish April and melted snow extremely fast. Almost unheard of to have those temps up north that time of year, so it’s hard to fault them too much.
