I raise Holstein steers and usually have more issues with cold, damp conditions, than warm and cold. Several days of freezing fog back in November caused us to lose 2 feeders. Haven't had a problem since but haven't had much for fog since either. All I know it besides November, this has been an ideal year to raise holstein steers on concrete lots/bed packs.
Do large temp swings affect cattle?
