Markets go up a few pennies every night generally getting to previous day high and 8:30 bell hits and slams it back into negative territory. This means it’s all algorithms correct?
You have your Asian markets making some trades starting at 8pm EST, then at 4am EST you have the British Markets opening, and 930 EST Chicago opens. The volume on the Asian and Euro markets is always light compared to Chicago.
Lately, it seems like we are seeing some light short covering at mornings opening starting at 9:30 est. Then it seems like when the shorts stop selling after the first 30 min to and hour we drop back down. |
