Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | Boyce how are your pen conditions ? ours SUCK !!! but are getting better by the day, thought we would be WAY off on gains with the cold weather followed by the mud but I am pleasantly surprised, Jake pulled me over as I was leaving the feedlot yesterday to point out a couple calves, one was a calf that had his mother killed on the highway, this calf was then put on LUCY the Holstien nurse cow we bought that raised eleven calves last year... that rippin steer is 15 months and tips the scales at 1600 sheesh!!! we are not natural here but those weights at 15 months are nuts. How is your monster pile of silage holding out? |
