Ottawa,ON Canada | FYI, it will run on a Milwaukee 8.0 battery all day with a 12v converter.
If you have a handful of places that you would be setting up the base, it could be worth installing a post at each location and doing the 24hr survey for each one. It saves each location in memory, so, in theory you could just show up later with the dome and battery and put it on the post and it would be ready to go in 3 mins. This would give you repeatability. A good rtk radio will work out a few miles with minimal trees in the way. What model are the rovers?
If SF6000, rtk extend for 2 weeks works pretty well too
