SE MN | When one copies a graph from excel, then pastes the graph in Powerpoint, the graph automatically updates in Powerpoint when the graph changes in excel, which is undesirable in my situation. One can break this connection via File>>info>>edit Links to Files in Powerpoint, but I would like this connection to be broken by default. How does one do this?
I realize if one were to paste the graph as an image, the connection is broken, but I prefer not to paste as an image. Image quality (resolution) is lost, and I like the ability to edit the axis titles if I paste as an Excel object. I also like to have an easy keyboard shortcut to paste (currently using control+V which is second nature to me) | |
