Subject: Copper Sulfate in spray water storage tanks

East Central Arkansas
I think I have read on here before of using some copper sulfate in the poly tanks to keep algae from growing. What kind of rate in a 1000 gal tank? Does it cause any problems with certain crops or chemicals one might be using? I have never had it on hand before but bought some to use in a sewer line to try to help a root problem. Looks like it can also be used as a fungicide but don't know what kind of rate you would use.
