What is your mixing water pH? I would be concerned if it is over 7.5 and really concerned if it is over 8.0. Some people claim that Roundup performs best if the pH of the water is around 6.0. If you plan to add a buffering agent to the spray mix it should be mixed with the water before adding the herbicide.

I regret you are having the problem. This can really mess up a good day.
