| Do not have to put the N in furrow , but just put down at planting time. From what I have seen, there are more plots that show nitrogen at planting time does increase yields more than using Pivot bio at Planting.
Also how does side dressing N correlate with the Pivot Bio data. Again from what I have seen proper side dressing not only effects yields, and plant health but reduces nitrogen run off. ISU did study that says that Pivot Bio reduces nitrogen run off, but no data on how much nitrogen lost is effected by side dressing. I guess that it is just obvious that side dressing increase nitrogen efficiency so no one wants to do the testing to compare it with Pivot Bio use? | |
