Keep an eye on daily open interest and COT reports. Falling OI is sign of funds closing out positions. Up to the minute or day are difficult. The weekly report will give good idea as to what the funds are covering. The best thing we could see today is a strong up day and then higher OI besides. Would mean new buying and not just fund covering.
