Subject: RE: Snodgrass.. 2 of 8 ENSO models signal that a 2012, 1988 drought is possible for 2024

Snodgrass stated plainly that weather is difficult to predict this time of year and that all long term weather forecasts should be taken with a grain of salt. But he’s a meteorologist, his job is to try to predict the weather and explain what patterns are occurring and what they mean.

I’ve learned a lot from him, and what I’ve found most important is this: El Niño is coming to an end, La Niña is coming but who’s knows when?

I don’t base my marketing on weather predictions, but I do use it to make adjustments to my crop plan, which affects my yield, which in turn affects my long term marketing strategy
