Fayette Co, Iowa | I’m in northeast IA. Dark red on NOAA for severe drought. I’ve got 3 three outlets that haven’t ran a drop in over 2 years. According to noaa it will take 5 inches to get us out of the severe drought. And now 12 inches to get us to “normal” . Talked to some older retired farmers in there late 80’s said this is the driest they have ever remembered. And warmest and driest winter . Doesn’t look good. When it’s sunny the wind blows 25-30 mph. Fridays rain was suppose to be .50 to 1.00 inch. Didn’t even get a half a tenth. It’s scary to say the least. | |
