East Central, Nebraska | im not familiar with an rv55 but i do recall that configuration being a special circumstance, if my memory serves me correctly don't you have to use a trimble modem that connects via usb? i didn't deal with that a lot but remember from time to time. im not sure why are they telling you that you need an rv55, in regards to an fmx i am unsure what benefit an rv55 would be over an rv50. never been around one but it looks like it adds wifi capabilities and i could see how the would be helpful with a tmx but not sure how its going to help you with an fmx, though i do see now they do appear to have a micro usb port. maybe that is the idea.
anyhow it can be ordered about anywhere. amazon has them, i have bought from the 5gstore.com before. they are out there.
