Does anyone have results from trials w/ and w/o Sulfur?
I got +/- 3.5% OM and from what I can find online, you can mineralize around 2.8 lbs per % OM
I've been spreading mix of 70 lbs AMS, 30 lbs Elemental S in front of corn in corn / soy rotation
I understand S is really a practically a macronutrient but soil tests results are inconsistent and S leaches easily
I few years ago, we had one hose get blocked for a day on the strip til bar. It happened to be one of the middle rows that would be right in the middle of the windshield on every pass across the field. It was a mix of P, K and S. S deficiencies were very evident on that one row and I got very tired of looking at it all year.
