Missouri

I used to do all kinds of things with rye. Had poly everywhere and neat grazed off square paddocks at various stages of regrowth. Baby calves even learned to creep into the next paddock under the wire.  I do none of that now. Throw some high mag mineral at them and put a couple bales in the washouts or on the clay spots and turn the cows out. The more work they do and the less I do the better things tend to work out. They'll even get out of the way of the planter if you honk.
